This fun tournament is only open to NCS members who have participated in each division (Open, 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5 and 3.0) of the NCS league this season. It's a big tournament, with tremendous history in Washington.
The tournament sports prizes for winners, finalists and the consolation winner. The Open division crowns "The Best League Player in Washington" while lower divisions have historically been won by some of the best upcoming juniors and seasoned adult players. Matches are recorded in US SQUASH.
To be eligible you must have played at least three matches in one division for your league team this season. If more than 16 players enter in any division, the top 16 players by skill rating will be placed into the draw in most circumstances (see the rules tab on the tournament page for complete details). The Open division will be limited to 8 players.
Matches will be played on a self-scheduled basis, starting August 7. You should play each round within no more than two weeks.
The final matches for each division would be played on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Sport&Health Capitol Hill.
All players must be available to play all of their matches. If you can't play in all the matches then you should not accept the invitation to the tournament. To see more rules and learn more about the history of the event, visit this page .
